Walkera Rodeo 150 - Sunny Morning FPV Run (non stock lipo mod)

Available at Banggood in BNF, RTF and a choice of black or white. http://www.banggood.com/Walkera-Rodeo-F150-150-SP-Racing-F3-Flight-Control-5_8G-FPV-Racing-RC-Quadcopter-p-1050481.html?p=UI14032168777201508N It's not the most elegant battery mod but it's totally removable to use the stock lipo and gets me an extra flight without buying more of Walkera lipos quite yet although i'm starting to feel like I kinda want a cluster of them to be satisfied now as I warm to it's silky smooth FPV experience and much narrower camera than the smaller Tarot offerings that have been getting a lot of stick time recently. Tilt angle is more important here but 20 - 45 degrees allows a slow glide and FFF so there still a decent range to round trees and see what's around you. It is annoying out of focus though and not at all crisp unless a couple cm away from the camera so is for sure focused wrongly. It's not turning by hand and isn't so bad you can't fly but it's certainly not perfect or desirable as the colour and light handling otherwise is superb. Power felt a touch improved but I could feel the extra weight of the 1000mah nanotech which I didn't mind for cruising as it 'feel's light in the cockpit anyway. Probably not a great choice for acro. While you might get 4 minutes, maybe if flying really gently all out gets you close to minutes with decent cruising like this breaking the 3 minute barrier. That a bit shorter than more race setups give you and half of what I can get cruising in the Tarot 130 with the same sized lipo - that's 3s of course though, this 150 is 2s 850mah only. I'm definitely starting to see this as more of a racer than a learning FPV platform in terms of how it flies and I love that everything is covered up so wet grass can't really spoil your day. I doubt the durability is up to taking full on hits into trees or ground however the rolling cartwheels after hitting branches are mounting up and it doesn't seem too dainty for it's own good.
