WarGames (1983) -- Arcade and Bedroom clip

A favourite series of scenes from the film Wargames. Like all movies, it's based in reality but it's very enhanced with extra flavour and sugar, and there's some cheese(cake) added as well. It's a very likable world, and David Lightman is a very likeable character, esp for a 10yo boy such as myself, who would have been the little kid playing Galaga. Notice that Lightman doesn't rip or rag on someone just because he is younger (which is a constant irritant amongst children), he has a humourously insouciant attitude to school and authority, and most importantly he has the affections of a very pretty classmate and doesn't use it as a tool of oppression: NB that she is the one that drives the motor-bike.
