Water Mill Generator

The first test of my generator B1 (originally designed for a vertical wind – VAWT - turbine) attached to a hydro-electric power station propelled by an overshot water wheel. The diameter of the wheel is 3,4 m, its width 0,4 m. The test was carried out at a time when the water was reaching only half of its usual volumes. No electronic regulation was applied. Electric convectors were used as a direct load. In these (not the most favorable) conditions, the maximum output reached was 2 kW, with the generator turning at around 200 RPM. Koleso má priemer 3,4 m a šírku 0,4 m. Test prebehol pri polovičnom stave vody a bez elektronickej regulácie s použitím elektrických konvektorov ako priamej záťaže.
