Weather Balloon Photography - Near Outer Space Attempt Two

JEP-2 On August 1, 2010 we launched our second balloon. We upgraded the payload to include a video camera. Our goal was 100,000 feet, but our balloon burst prematurely at approximately 80,000 feet. The burst jolted the package and forced the button on the camera to be depressed. This stopped the photographs. There was about 20 minutes of video after the burst, but the decent was so fast and blurry. We launched in Cartersville, GA and landed about 80 feet up a pine tree in Villa Rica, GA.
