WE 111 and WE 105, both EMD GP35-3's on a short freight local for the Southwest Pennsylvania Railroad. Seen at the Woods Road crossing between Owensdale and Everson, Pa. These locomotives are being leased to the SWP which has had more business than it can handle lately. The fellow in the right of the video is Mr. Bill Sechler, a notorious railfan and photographer of trains in Western Pennsylvania. WE 111 was acquired by the heeling and Lake Erie in 1997 and rebuilt to a GP35-3 in May 2010. Built as DRGW 3045 in January 1965. has the name W.J. Holtman on the hood. He was president of the Denver Rio Grande and Western Railroad in the 1980's. Many former executives from the DRGW are now on the W&LE. Also before this was painted last year it still had Rio Grande on the side. WE 105 was acquired by the Wheeling and Lake Erie in 1990 and rebuilt to a GP35-3 in August 2001. Built as Southern 2655 in January 1965. Filmed in high definition and unedited to preserve video quality.
