Relevant boss since he enables to observe the current monk's mecanisms on the beta. Instead of speaking stupidly about a meaningless boss regarding the abilities, here are some of my thoughts on the beta' monk. I don't think the class suffers with particular absence of mecanisms. I mean, imo, some spells made the gameplay a bit more dynamic (Advert Harm as a survival CD, Healing Spheres = no incantation time and forecasting damages, Clash, Disarm, and so on...) but it still something pleasant to play a monk. Now, the annoying part is clearly about numbers. I don't understand how a little sphere from GotO can possibly heal me for less than 1% HP. Same with 9k absorb on the Guard. Same for the EH heals which are clearly a bit too low (half of the original value). I mean, if Gara'jal is possible, it's clearly thanks to the up of the Healthpool, cuz I'm doing MORE healings on the live with my 90 monk than on PTR with these crappy numbers and a lvl 100 monk 660 ilvl. Same for DPS. Our DPS is very low. I mean, without the farming of potions and flasks, and a few enchants on my stuff, Gara'jal wouldn't even be possible in less than 5 minutes for a monk. The DK, in comparison, can solo the Heroic version of Gara'jal (7575k PV instead of 4976k) in 5min30secs roughly. Also, I'm hitting the enrage on N Protectors of the Endless which is absolutely absurd. Consequently, I'm still waiting for a few changes, even if, I'll make other beta soloing videos in the few next days, regardless of this weakness. Sound : 夏祭り - SOUND HOLIC
