The Audemars Piguet Offshore Tourbillon is a total stunner. It is extremely lightweight and its sand blasted titanium finish is extraordinary. The Panerai Titanium Lo Scienziato Luminor 578 is an absolute hell of a machine on your wrist. Not only is it aesthetically outstanding when it comes to its design but the biggest kicker is that it’s a 47mm watch that weighs about ONLY 90g. The Harry Winston Histoire De Tourbillon 4 will WOW anyone that knows anything about horology. It has a very futuristic design and it comes in a Limited Edition of only 20 pieces ever made. The movement here is composed of 340 parts and you won’t believe how many hours it takes to put them all together. ?️ WATCH GEEKS GALORE → Keep reading for some interesting history French-Swiss watchmaker Abraham-Louis Breguet made history when he invented the tourbillon in 1795. He received the commision from Queen Marie-Antoinette, who was a huge fan of his designs and helped him rise to fame among citizens of the high class. The queen made the request in 1783 but the atrocities of the French Revolution prevented its completion. Breguet escaped to Switzerland and the queen was met with the guillotine before she could ever see the finalized grand complication. Breguet was able to complete the tourbillon in Paris in 1795, after finally reopening his business. Napoleon Bonaparte and the Empress Josephine were among his customers. Breguet has also been credited with creating the first wrist watch in 1810, when he was commissioned by Caroline Murat, Napoleon’s sister and the Queen of Naples. The tourbillon that Queen Marie-Antoinette requested was actually designed as a pocket watch, making the wrist watch another revolutionary horological creation. While Peter Henlein, a German locksmith and clockmaker, is often considered to be the inventor of the watch, he was specifically known for small ornamental wearable/portable clocks. These were usually over 3 inches long, were sometimes worn as pendants or attached to clothing, and could not fit in pockets. They would serve as the precursor to the pocket watch, which arose about 100 years later. ________________________________ ⌚ WATCHES IN THIS EPISODE ✚ Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Tourbillon Chronograph in Sand Blasted Titanium Finish 26407TI.GG.A002CA.01 https://goo.gl/jSmCiT ✚ Officine Panerai Lo Scienziato Luminor 1950 Tourbillon GMT PAM 578 Titanium PAM00578 https://goo.gl/Mu3CKi ✚ Harry Winston Histoire de Tourbillon 4 Watch (Limited Edition of 20) HCOMDT47WZ001 https://goo.gl/XUbKxX ________________________________ ⭐ FOLLOW ME HERE ► Instagram: http://bit.ly/2KoESBO ► Facebook: http://bit.ly/2Koiqco ► Twitter: http://bit.ly/2KnoFwL ?
