WW2 German Veteran speaks about Germany joining the Allies to fight the Russians

Did Patton and the Allied Commanders really come THIS close to turning the Wehrmacht loose on the Russians? This German Veteran gives details of the first three days after the Armistice was signed by Germany in May, 1945. He was stationed in Denmark and surrendered to the British and Canadians. Much to his surprise they were not disarmed and actually marched alongside the motorized British troops... rumor had it they were on their way to fight the Russians.
