Yiannis Pittis was born and brought up in Greece, moving to England in his late teens. There he set up an international business on travel and publishing which he subsequently sold. Yiannis Pittis is now a writer and teacher of esoteric science and self realisation and has been leading seminars and workshops for over 25 years in Europe and North America. His book, The Healing Fountains of the Soul, is published in Greek and in English, and it focuses on transformation through right use of energy directed by meditation. He is also one of the contributors to the book, Aether, which attempts to build a bridge between esoteric science and exoteric science in the vast field of Energy Consciousness and "Aether", the one element and the source of all other elements. Together with his teaching commitments, he is currently working on several other books which are being prepared for publication. The philosophy behind the Dictionary of Energism, Defining Soul and Spirit, is drawn from a synthesis of the ageless wisdom found in all the philosophical and religious writings of the world.
