YR123's Top 5: Planet Puzzle League Music

I actually never played 2007's Planet Puzzle League by Nintendo and Intelligent Systems for the Nintendo DS (known as Puzzle League DS and Panel de Pon DS in Europe and Japan, respectively), but I did play the condensed DSiWare version of this very game released in 2009, Puzzle League Express. The music is actually nice for a puzzle game, if you ask me. Planet Puzzle League is the latest original addition to the Puzzle League series, which started back on the Super Famicom with Panel de Pon. Due to the lack of a characterized theme, it's easily mistakable for a shovelware puzzle game, but in contrary, it's one of the most definitive installments of the series. It's hard to describe how Planet Puzzle League personifies itself with the lack of a real face, but unlike the Puzzle League found in Dr. Mario & Puzzle League , the game definitely has a fresh new look for the series, including the new music. The composer of the soundtrack, who I believe is Masanobu Matsunaga, without a doubt delivered a different approach to the game's music. Technically speaking, the previous games recycled the same music for the most part, but not until Planet Puzzle League was there really anything completely new. A unique Puzzle League experience this game is, and from what I've read, I would highly recommend it to any puzzle enthusiast looking for some quality fun.
