Zita Charles Review ~ Silhouette of the 1930's ~ 15" IT doll by Mel Odom, Gene Marshall Series

ZITA CHARLES ~She was the grail doll for me of ALL Gene Marshall dolls: Gene & friends included! If I could only have had one Mel Odom doll, she would be it! Zita Charles is an Integrity Toys doll called Silhouette of the 1930's, designed with Jason Wu. Besides the purple eyes, it was the short, blonde, pin curl hairstyle that made her perfect to me! She is going to look gorgeous with all the Hollywood glam fashions and costumes on! Not to mention the ease of adding hats & fascinators on her head without messing up her hairstyle is convenient too. Her personality on wiki is interesting to read. Can we say social butterfly?! She was released in 2009 and only 300 were made. SKU #92073 She is part of a doll series using different friends of Gene. In this series, each character represents a decade in fashion by their outfit style. This one, being the best of the 1930s. Now let me tell you, time has passed and I still love her just as much. My choice is her favor has not wavered. I have also realized that I adore every version of her! If there is a doll I get, just "to get" for collecting dust on a shelf, "Hostess With The Mostest" would be it. The white streak in that version, against dark hair, is so UNIQUE!!! She doesn't have many versions, others are So this was my extra wonderful Mother's Day surprise!!!
