Afghanistan: Several dead after Taliban and ISIS clash in Kabul *DISTRESSING CONTENT*

Taliban security officials investigated a house in Kabul on Monday where apparent three Islamic State (IS; formerly ISIS, ISIL) fighters were shot dead and two arrested earlier in a gun fight.

Evidence of a gunfight could be seen in a building, including puddles of blood, walls riddled with bullet holes and scattered debris, in footage recorded on Tuesday.

One resident appealed to the Taliban to warn residents before security operations take place, for the safety of civilians.

“Our request to the Islamic Emirate is to inform the people when ISIS or opposition groups is present so that people can leave the area where the clash is taking place,” said Amanuddin.

According to Taliban security official Haqqani, three mujahedeen were injured while trying to storm the house allegedly occupied by ISIS fighters.

The mujahedeen killed three of the ISIS fighters and captured two during the renewed attack.
