All fun and games minus the deadly penalties at real-life "Squid Game" in Abu Dhabi

A contest inspired by Netflix Korean hit ‘Squid Game’ brought two groups of pre-selected contestants to Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.

Minus the deadly penalties, the Squid Game-inspired contest saw participants partake in games such as ‘Red Light, Green Light’, ‘Dalgona Candy’ challenge and Squid Game-Marbles combo.

The games were organised by the Korean Cultural Centre in Abu Dhabi and in keeping with the show, participants wore uniforms featuring the Squid Game logo, while staff wore circle, triangle and square guard costumes.
