Erin O’Toole, leader of the Canadian Conservative Party voted with his wife in Bowmanville, Ontario, on Monday in the snap parliamentary election called by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
Canadians from all districts are voting to elect new members of the House of Commons to form the 44th parliament.
According to the polls, the Conservatives are in a tight race with Trudeau’s Liberal Party, as the current prime minister seeks another term having been elected in 2019 in a minority government.
