Protesters clashed with riot police in Bogota on Tuesday as the country marked Independence Day.

Footage shows a crowd of anti-government demonstrators, some behind barricades, throwing objects while officers respond with tear gas.

According to the National Police, at least 22 people were arrested and 21 police officers were injured in protests across the country.
