Travellers hoping to get to London on Saturday from San Juan’s Juan Santamaria International Airport found themselves stranded after their British Airways flight was delayed overnight.

According to British Airways’ website, flight BA2236 was delayed until Sunday.

British Airways has been affected by the ongoing COVID-19 crisis this Christmas, with Europe currently facing a fifth wave of the virus, and the airline faced with a staffing issues related to pandemic.
