A Russian strike in the besieged southern Ukrainian city of Mariupol killed three people, including a child, after it hit a maternity and children’s hospital.

To the north, bombs fell on two more hospitals in the city of Zhytomyr, west of Kyiv.

President Zelensky called the attacks, which caused dozens of casualties, a war crime.

The International Criminal Court launched an investigation into Vladimir Putin on February 28.
