Welcome to my channel, where we talk all things Excel and Office productivity. In today’s video, we’re discussing a very important topic - National Spreadsheet Awareness Day, also known as Spreadsheet Day. But before we dive into the celebrations, let me make one thing clear - do NOT ask your boss for time off to celebrate this day. Trust me, it’s not worth it.

I recently received a spreadsheet from one of my viewers, showcasing their clever use of the WORKDAY function for scheduling prison haircuts. Impressive, I must say. But when they asked me if they could have Tuesday off to celebrate Spreadsheet Day, I couldn’t help but laugh. Your job is to make spreadsheets, not celebrate them. And I’m sure most bosses would agree with me on this one.

So why am I making this video? Well, I want to save you from making the same mistake. Don’t risk your job by asking for time off to celebrate a day that most people don’t even know exists. Instead, use this day to appreciate the power and importance of spreadsheets in our daily lives. And if you really want to celebrate, do it after work hours. Trust me, your boss will thank you for it. So let’s raise a glass to all the hardworking spreadsheet creators out there, and keep on crunching those numbers. Cheers!
