‘Doctors Perform Life-Saving Heart Surgery Amid Hospital FIRE in Russia’

A team of Russian medics completed a successful heart surgery inside a burning hospital on Friday.

The fire broke out shortly after the operation began, causing a power cut mid-surgery.

The medics continued to perform the complicated operation at Amur State Medical Academy’s cardiology centre in Blagoveshchensk.

Firefighters used electric ventilators to protect everyone inside from smoke.

The patient was later transferred to another regional hospital for further treatment.

More than 100 people were evacuated from the building and nobody was injured.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
