Dramatic Footage of Fast-Moving Fire on Utah’s Traverse Mountain

Emergency evacuations were ordered by fire officials after a fast-moving fire engulfed the south-side of Traverse Mountain in Utah County on June 27.

Strong heavy winds quickly spread the fire that broke out around 11:30 pm on Saturday.

Fire crews estimate several hundred acres of land had already burned before they arrived at the scene.

Officials say the fire was caused by someone setting off fireworks in the area.
