‘Dramatic Moment Ukrainian Soldiers Attacked With Automatic Grenade Launchers at Border’

Ukraine’s army came under fire on Monday from territory controlled by Russian-backed separatists.

They were attacked with automatic grenade launchers near Horlivka in eastern Ukraine.

In a statement, the army confirmed the death of one Ukrainian soldier.

The EU estimates that more than 150,000 Russian troops have assembled at the border.

It’s unclear whether this massive military build-up signals a planned Russian assault.

Russian-backed separatist rebels and Ukrainian troops have been clashing since 2014.

More than 14,000 people have died in the fighting.
