At least 11 Palestinians were arrested by Israeli police in East Jerusalem on Tuesday during a rally marking the anniversary of the birth of Prophet Muhammad.

Officers used tear gas and stun grenades against demonstrators who gathered near the Damascus Gate in the Old City.
