ESA Euclid will explore the dark Universe

The European Space Agency’s (ESA) Euclid mission is designed to explore the evolution of the dark Universe. It will make a 3D-map of the Universe (with time as the third dimension) by observing billions of galaxies out to 10 billion light-years, across more than a third of the sky. Carole G. Mundell (Director of Science, ESA) and Elena Maiorano (Spacecraft Engineering Manager for Euclid, ESA) explain the Euclid mission.
