Four Stabbed During Proud Boys and Antifa Clashes in Washington

Violent clashes between pro- and anti-Trump groups left four people stabbed with potentially life-threatening wounds in Washington, DC on Saturday. Authorities did not comment on which group the injured individuals belonged to.

Hundreds of Donald Trump supporters, joined by the far-right group Proud Boys, gathered in Washington for a ‘Stop The Steal’ march, a day after the Supreme Court rejected a bid to overturn the results following Trump’s latest legal challenge.
The demonstration turned violent in the evening, when Trump supporters and Proud Boys clashed in the streets with members of Antifa and Black Lives Matter, despite the police efforts to keep the groups separated.
Trump supporters allege widespread fraud during the election, a baseless claim that has been dismissed by different courts, and lastly by the conservative-majority Supreme Court.
On Monday, the US Electoral College will confirm president-elect Joe Biden’s victory.
