France: Parisians, Yellow Vests demonstrate against COVID pass and vaccination

Members of the Yellow Vests anti-government movement and other protesters took to the streets of Paris, on Saturday, to protest against the COVID pass and vaccine mandates.

“There is a clear will to enslave the proletariat and the entire population into submission,” said Jean, a Yellow Vests member and protester.

“I think they have been asking a lot of us for two years and there comes a point where there’s a limit,” said Perrine, a protester who has received the jab.

Last July, the French government implemented a health pass giving special privileges to vaccinated citizens to encourage vaccination against COVID-19.

There is a clear will to enslave the proletariat and the entire population into submission.”

Everyone has the right to choose whether they want or do not want to get vaccinated. This is not an anti-vaccine protest, no. It is a protest for the freedom to choose, whether yes or no, we want to be vaccinated. Everyone has the right to choose, here in this protest there are people who are vaccinated and people who are not vaccinated. We are for freedom, for the freedom to choose.”

SOT, Perrine, Yellow Vests member and protester: “Personally, I have gotten vaccinated, but I don’t want to justify myself every time I go to a store, or restaurant, or to the movie theater. I think they have been asking a lot of us for two years and there comes a point where there’s a limit.”
