Police officers used tear gas to disperse anti-COVID vaccine protesters in Paris on Saturday.
Dozens of riot police units could be seen while being stationed near the iconic Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysee Avenue.
On Saturday, hundreds of protesters took the street of Paris to criticise the COVID-19 measures and the vaccine mandate, many coming from the ‘freedom convoy,’ which departed on February 10 from southern France and is heading to Belgium for a European rally.
According to local reports, at least fifty-four protesters were arrested in the French capital on Saturday.
