A train carrying diesel derailed and burst into flames, spilling fuel into a nearby river.

The freight train was carrying three tanks of fuel when it caught fire.

Around 300 people were evacuated from their homes near Llanelli in Wales.

People living nearby described seeing “plumes of smoke” and flames from the tracks.

The two people on board, a driver and engineer, were not injured in the incident.
