Germany: Anti-vaxxers demo takes place near Nuremberg, met with counter-protest

Between 3,000 and 5,000 vaccination opponents protested in the city of Ansbach about 44 kilometres (27 miles) west of Nuremberg, marching through the town to oppose the German government’s policy regarding vaccines and the COVID-19 pandemic.

The demonstration was met with a counter-protest of citizens of who organised a human chain and held candles but also of Antifa members who held banners denouncing the anti-vaxxers.

No serious incident were reported though several protesters were arrested for violating mandatory mask requirements.
