A rally organised by the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party was held in Nuremberg on Sunday where the leader of the party’s Bundestag faction, Alice Weidel, gave a speech against the prospect of a nationwide COVID vaccine mandate.

A counter-protest was held simultaneously with rally participants seen holding Antifa flags.

The German government is planning to put a nationwide COVID vaccination mandate to a parliamentary vote.
