Germany: Italian President Sergio Mattarella lands in Berlin

Italian President Sergio Mattarella arrived in Berlin on Monday for an official state visit.
Mattarella could be seen leaving the airplane and being welcomed by a delegation of German officials.
Afterwards, German President Walter Steinmeier greeted his counterpart with military honours at his presidential residence, Bellevue.
Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel will receive the President of the Republic of Italy in the Federal Chancellery on Tuesday.
A joint discussion will focus on international and European policy issues.
