Thousands of COVID sceptics rallied across Frankfurt on Saturday to protest the pandemic restrictions put in place to curb the spread the coronavirus.

The march departed from the Holzhausenpark around 15:00 local time.

Under the slogan ‘We are the people,’ activists decried the mask mandate as well as the obligation to test for those lacking a booster shot of the COVID vaccine to enter the restaurants, shops and other public spaces.
