Drone footage capture the extent of the devastation caused by wildfires on the Greek island of Evia, on Tuesday.

Entire areas were ravaged by massive blazes.

More than 2,000 people have been evacuated from the island, as Greece has suffered wildfires for nearly two weeks, due to an ongoing heatwave as well as months of drought.

The fires come amid the worst heatwave to strike the country in the last three decades.
