‘Haitian President’s Widow Releases First Statement Since Assassination’

The wife of Haiti’s late President Jovenel Moïse has given her first public statement since his assassination.

Martine Moïse issued the statement from the Miami hospital where she is being treated for wounds.

She accused enemies of wanting “to kill his dream, his vision, his ideology.”

President Moïse was killed on July 7, reportedly by 28 foreign mercenaries.
