A Mercury Monterey Station Wagon signed by The Beach Boys, as well as several other American celebrities, was seen on the Mecum Auction block in Monterey, California.

TV Commentator John Kraman explained how the 1955 model, which has been restored to better-than-new condition, is expected to fetch between $40,000 and $50,000 (€34,000 to €42,000), possibly even more.

“The American pop-culture of this car is very evident on the dashboard, as it’s got some really significant signatures,” said Kraman. “Three of The Beach Boys, Chubby Checker, Dick Clark of American Bandstand, and even one of the members of The Brady Bunch cast.”
