‘India Crash: 25 People Including 3 Children Killed After Bus Catches Fire

Twenty-five people, including three children, have died in Western India after a bus they were travelling in crashed and caught fire early this morning

Police say the bus overturned on its side, blocking the doors and preventing those on board from escaping.

It’s thought to have occurred due to a tyre blowout.

Eight others have been hospitalised. India’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi tweeted his condolences, while state officials have pledged compensation of 500,000 rupees to the victim’s families.
