The main and operational phase of the Zolfaqar 1400 joint exercises of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran started on Sunday.

The exercises saw the participation of the army’s ground, air force, air defence, and naval forces as they tested their technology around the east of the Strait of Hormuz, the Sea of ​​Oman and the North Indian Ocean.

Forces were deployed in the general zone of the drills from days ago and staged different exercises and the units carried out the main phase of the joint Zolfaqar 1400 war games on Sunday.

Iran has beefed up its military might in recent years amid repeated threats of war from the US and the Israeli regime. Tehran says it will give a crushing response to any aggression.
