Hundreds of protesters originally demonstrating against the recent election results paused their march in Baghdad to watch the La Liga clasico game between Real Madrid and Barcelona on Sunday.
Locals gathered around a huge make-shift screen before intensely following the game results. Some celebrated the goals while others contested the foul play. The game itself resulted in a 2-1 victory for Real Madrid on Barcelona’s home turf.
