Israel: Nations gather as Blue Flag air force exercise gets underway

The international ‘Blue Flag’ exercise, involving seven air force teams from around the world practicing combat scenarios, was underway at the Ovda air force base on Sunday.
Air force personnel from Germany, Italy, Britain, France, India, Greece, and the United States took part in this year’s exercise. They could be seen fraternising on Sunday before taking to the skies.
The aim of the event is, through joint practice, to build international cooperation in aerial techniques.
