A Palestinian attacker was shot by an armed civilian in Tel Aviv on Tuesday, after the man drove his car into a crowded bus stop and began stabbing people, according to Israeli police.

Mobile phone footage of the scene released by an onlooker purported to show the attacker in the distance on the ground, as gunshots were heard.

West Bank in nearly two decades and comes amid a more than a year-long spike in violence.
