‘Israeli Military Releases New Footage Destroying Hamas Tunnels’.

The Israeli military released footage on Tuesday claiming to show its troops destroying tunnels built by Hamas in the northern Gaza Strip.

Troops have been battling Palestinian militants inside Gaza for over a week, and have succeeded in cutting the territory in half and encircling Gaza City.

An artillery unit in southern Israel, near the Gaza Strip can be seen firing at positions, as soliders resupplied shells.

The besieged territory has been pounded with intense Israeli airstrikes for weeks.

It’s setting the stage for an expected push into the dense confines of Gaza City and an even bloodier phase of the month-old war.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel will have “overall security responsibility” in Gaza for an indefinite period after its war with Hamas.

It’s the clearest indication yet that Israel plans to maintain control over the coastal enclave that is home to 2.3 million Palestinians.

Already, more than 10,000 people have been killed in Palestine according to the Health Ministry in Gaza, including over 4,100 children.

More than 2,300 people are missing and believed to be buried under the rubble of destroyed buildings, the ministry said.

In Israel, mourners are marking one month since the deadly attack by Hamas militants on October 7th.

At least 1,400 people have died, and 242 others have been taken hostage into Gaza.

On Monday, hundreds of family members joined supporters outside Israel’s parliament in Jerusalem to call for the release of their loved ones.
