Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has criticised the European Union’s decision to write a letter to the Pakistani government, urging them to condemn Russia’s military offensive in Ukraine.

“I want to remind my countrymen, it was Pakistan who helped NATO during war on terror, we were allies, I would have never supported them if I had the government,” he said. “What did Pakistan get in reward? 80,000 Pakistanis lost their lives.”

Furthermore, Khan slammed the European Union for not cutting diplomatic ties to India, “when they had violated the international law by defying the UNSC resolution on Kashmir and ending its special status.”

“Did you criticise them? Did you impose sanction on trade with them? What do you think about us? Are we your slaves to follow your orders anyway,” asked Khan
