LIVE: Biden delivers remarks on response to tornadoes and extreme weather

US President Joe Biden holds a press conference in Dawson Springs on Wednesday, December 15 as part of his visit to Kentucky, in the aftermath of deadly tornadoes that wreaked havoc over the weekend.
During a White House briefing on Monday in Washington DC, Biden stated that the US government will support affected areas “as long as it takes to help.”
The President also announced his plans to set up Disaster Recovery Centers in affected areas and respond to the storms’ aftermath with a common effort of state, federal, and volunteer organisations.
