US Secretary of State Antony Blinken is meeting Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett on Wednesday, August 25, in Washington DC.

In addition to Blinken, Bennett is scheduled to meet other senior officials, including Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin. A meeting with President Joe Biden is scheduled for Thursday.

Bennett’s trip to the US comes amid regional disputes with Iran and increased hostilities in the Gaza Strip.
