Ruptly is live from Paris on Saturday, December 4, as health professionals hold a protest in front of the Ministry of Health.
According to the organisers, the protesters, called by several unions across the country, are set to call for “defence and improvement to the public hospital, the health and social action system”.
The protest takes place as France is currently experiencing a shortage of medical workers, as many staff have resigned, went on sick leave, or have become unable to work due to the new regulation requiring all healthcare workers to be fully vaccinated.
