Hundreds rally outside French Senate against 'imposing' of vaccination and health passes

Hundreds of protesters gathered in front of the Senate in Paris on Tuesday to express their disapproval of the health passport, the measure put in place to help curb the spread of the coronavirus.

The government is ending free COVID tests for everyone this week in the hope it will encourage people to get the jab .

A recent French study that involved 22 million people over the age of 50 has found that people who were vaccinated were 90 percent less likely to die from COVID or be hospitalised because of it.
