LIVE: Kuleba and Blinken speak to media in Washington

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken speak to media following a bilateral meeting in Washington on Tuesday, February 22.

Kuleba is visiting the US the day after Russian President Vladimir Putin announced his decision to recognise the two self-declared breakaway republics of Donetsk and Lugansk in Ukraine’s Donbass region.

On Monday, Kuleba discussed with EU foreign ministers the latest developments in the situation at the border between Russia and Ukraine in order to reaffirm the EU’s full support for Ukraine, its independence and its territorial integrity.
