Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his Belarusian counterpart Vladimir Makei hold a joint press conference following the annual meeting of the Russian-Belarusian ministerial collegium in Moscow, on Wednesday, November 10.

It is expected that topics for discussion by the two ministers will include current issues of bilateral cooperation and pressing international and regional issues.

The meeting is taking place amid the heightened tensions on the Belarus border with Poland where hundreds of migrants set up a camp after failed attempts to cross into the EU.
Tensions between the EU and Belarus have been escalating in recent months, with the EU accusing Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko of deliberately sending migrants over the border in response to sanctions imposed by the EU.
