Live outside Perm university following deadly shooting

Ruptly is live from outside a Perm State University on Monday, September 20, where one of the students opened an gunfire.

According to Russia’s Investigative Committee law enforcement agency, six people have been confirmed dead and 28 injured in the incident that occurred at around 11:00 local time (06:00 GMT). The committee initially said eight people had been killed.

The gunman, who has been identified, is in a hospital after being wounded when resisting arrest, the Russian Interior Ministry said.
