Pentagon Press Secretary John F. Kirby is holding a briefing at the Pentagon on Thursday, August 26.

The Pentagon has confirmed at least two explosions outside the Kabul airport, saying that it “was the result of a complex attack that resulted in a number of US and civilian casualties.”

12 US service members were among those killed in the attack, according to the Pentagon.
