LIVE: Protesters gather in Brussels to demonstrate against COVID measures

Belgium’s ‘United for Freedom’ group are calling for protesters to take to the streets of Brussels on Sunday, January 30, for a new round of demonstration against COVID-19 measures.

The protest is taking place one week after clashes with police erupted during a similar demonstration. Police used water cannon and tear gas to push back protesters, who were gathering close to the European Union headquarters.
